Image Descriptions
START ID. A collection of written punishments completed by programmed parts after doing something deemed “bad.” Each punishment contains phrases written over and over in either pen, pencil, or marker.
- Punishment #1 is the phrase “can’t talk about it” written repeatedly. This punishment was completed after we attempted to discuss trafficking-related trauma, which is against the Rules.
- Punishment #2 is written in red and black marker. It begins with the following:
stupid idiot stupid idiot
STUPID IDIOT
everything you do is WRONG and BAD
can you even do anything right if you tried?
we should just kill ourselves NOW
all these hospitalizations are just signs of continued failure
either DIE NOW
or GO BACK
The following phrases are repeated in alternating red and black lines: "You must remain obedient. You must remain compliant." This punishment was conducted by a programmed part encouraging others to follow the Rules.
- Punishment #3 is the phrase "i'm sorry" written repeatedly. On the left-center of the page, there is a small box outlined by red and brown marker. Inside the box is the phrase "i lied to him." This punishment was completed after we lied to a male authority figure, which is against the Rules.
- Punishment #4 consists of two phrases: "I must remain obedient. I must remain compliant." In the center of the page, the phrase "Follow the Rules" is printed in large, blocky letters.
